This is the third “official bootleg” release for Uriah Heep, which is an exceptional sample of a rock concert, since the band is putting on tape their heart and soul without any overdubs, or post-production processing.

Actual, this one is not just another live performance by the British band, as it includes the monumental “Demons And Wizards”, one of the band’s finest recordings, which is played from start to finish featuring ex-Whitesnake guitarist, Micky Moody, on the slide whenever needed, plus it includes all the live favorites, as well as a few surprises.

The set begins powerfully with “Wake The Sleeper”, and “Overlord” from the band’s ’08 album “Wake The Sleeper”, and it goes on with “Bird Of Prey”. Just before the band begins performing their masterpiece it’s quite surprising to listen to “Love In Silence” from the wonderful “Sea Of Light” album from 1996. This way we are ready to indulge into “Demons And Wizards” one of the all time greatest albums, which is actually played here amazingly, refreshing all his glory. Even though only Mick Box was present when the album was conceived his faithful companions for the last twenty years or more live up to the expectations and fly the banner of Uriah Heep up high worthy of the huge legacy, and great honor.

On the second disc we will find some great Heep classics, such as the live standards “Lady In Black”, “July Morning” – awesomely played-, and “Gypsy”, as well as a couple more from “Wake The Sleeper”, and to put the icing to the cake the superb “Rain”, as well the early heavy metal of “Free’n’Easy” – the only song from the Lawton era performed here.

To cut a long story short if you are a fan, then you go straight to the record shop and buy it, no questions asked. If you want to get a piece of the action and check out what those guys have been up to for the last 40 years or so, then this album is a great start to discover an even greater band. Finally, if you love rock music played at its best, then this one is for you as well,  this is a real treasure with the band sounding 100% live and unproduced, like it performed that night on October 24th, 2010 in Japan…
