Bruce Dickinson and Roger Glover performed Jon Lord’s famous “Concerto For Group and Orchestra” in Gyor, Hungary on Friday, November 5th.

In addition to the three “movements” of the concert, “Difficult To Cure”, “Wring That Neck”, “Pictures of Home”, “When a Blind Man Cries”, “Perfect Strangers”, “Hush”, “Smoke on the Water ” were also played.

The rock band, except from the distinguished guests consisted of Kaitner Z Doka on guitar and Bernhard Welz on drums, while the Gyor Symphony Orchestra was conducted by Paul Mann of the London Symphony Orchestra, the same conductor who had collaborated with Deep Purple in 1999 at their then appearance at the Royal Albert Hall for the 30th anniversary of the historic project.
