Do you want music that takes you back in time with the most nostalgic and authentic sound? Do you want a production from the pre-digital era? In other words, do you want 80s? Violet gives you back the 80s! And if you missed them with their first album (“Illusions”) 2 years ago, now is your chance to get a unique one-way ticket to the mysterious world of “Mysteria” or if you prefer, to the magical world of Violet!

If you are a fan of the 80’s aesthetics, if you think that the 80’s American b’ movies are the pinnacle of Hollywood and if “Miami Vice” is for you the best show of all time then “Mysteria” is the perfect album for you. With keyboards to the fore and the pop rock finesse of bands like Starship and Roxette, Germany’s Violet come to remind us again how great those times were and how much they offered on a purely musical level. Hell, even the aesthetics of their video-clips are incredible and give you the impression that they were shot with a VHS video camera! Personally, what made a great impression on me is the sound they produced which captures the 80s to a superlative degree and of course the songs are so damn sensational with “Bad Dream” and “Angelina” leading the charge!

At a time when the majority of bands out there are trying to find the next great musical style, Violet choose to return to the past but aiming, at the same time, for the future! We wish them nothing but good luck…they deserve it!

Highlight: The producer of the album is of Greek origin…his name is Andreas Konstantaras.
