Wake Up Call come from Italy, which lately have been “exporting” impressive bands, and releases from the melodic rock genre.
This first release from the band is of high standards as far as the production, and the compositions are concerned. Their style could be described as something between melodic hard rock, and contemporary rock that comes from the States. I wouldn’t be surprised if I’d look through their record collections and find albums by Aerosmith, Nickelback, Goo Goo Dolls, Guns n Roses, BonJovi, AlterBridge, Foo Fighters.
Their playing is very good, and singer/guitarist Tommy sounds great, while as the press release states “the live shows is their home”. Until their full length work we will be playing the EP again and again!
