Dear friends,
Unfortunately we have to announce, that we will not be able to finally see you in Athens this December. Despite Wardrum’s commitment to headline this amazing “Disharmony – Spitfire – Wardrum” festival in Athens, we will not be able to perform. Yannis has chosen not to attend, as he has decided to take a new opportunity that came up suddenly some days ago, for 9 shows in Germany with his other band.
Wardrum have so far always been honoring their fans, as well as everyone we worked with. Following the recent circumstances we decided to end our collaboration with Yannis and we are trying our best to find as soon as possible a new powerful voice for the band and our fans. Regarding the festival, we are cooperating closely with the organizer, looking for a solution. We apologize to all our friends, partners and everyone who is involved, for being unable to perform and we promise that we will do our best to make it happen in the near future.
It’s a fact that this incident is a big slap in the face for us, but we are determined to move on. We always face the difficulties we encounter, and exploit them as an opportunity to evolve. We will put our heads down to work and fulfill all the needed tasks that will lead us to the next album as soon as possible. We are already in the middle of the songwriting process and the results so far fully give us the strength we need.
