Whitesnake were forced to cancel their appearance at Rock Imperium Festival in Cartagena, Spain, literally the last moment, due to a health problem of their drummer, Tommy Aldridge.
The promoters announced that the band’s performance got canceled due to Tommy Aldridge’s “severe health problems”, something that according to the band was inaccurate.
David Coverdale tweeted: “Now Hear This!!! “Tommy was under the weather, as we all can get, but is getting better: he never had, what was inaccurately described as “severe health problems” and can’t wait to get back out there to perform for the fans! “ The Spanish promoter released a misleading statement”.
