I’m really glad when underground metal bands, contemporary metal that is, succeed on releasing their albums frequently. This means they are willing, persistent and – in this case, regarding the Greek/Italian band – capable. Kostas Ladopoulos’ band, further to their exceptional debut, “Evaluation”, follows a noticeable course, with “Impressions” this time. An equally good album, marked with evolution elements and differentiations in comparison with the previous album.

“Impressions”, composing-wise as well as a total listening package, will satisfy a lot of people. Progressive is limited and the album sounds more forward than “Evaluation”; the character 81db apposed in their music is maintained. This character is based on rough riffs and escorting melodies. The mpouzouki (Greek folklore) instrument is present once again, properly handled throughout the songs. Though I believe that its volume inside the album is close to the limit, without affecting all this rage coming out of “Impressions”.

The band from Florence, Italy has released a very good album, which I would suggest to all contemporary metal fans as well as extreme metal fans.
