Swedish melodic hard rock with obvious references to the tradition of continental Europe and to such outfits as Gotthard, Jaded Heart, Mad Max etc….this could be a description of Angeline’s sound and its record “Disconnected”. Bearing a remarkable production and with songs that balance in between the classic sound of the early 90s (like, for instance, the atmosphere of the first Harem Scarem record) and the modern musical paths of let’s say Bon Jovi of the latter day, Angeline delivers a remarkable record with catchy and memorable songs.

The one thing that I wasn’t aware of is that Angeline has been around –on and off- since the late 80s (although for the most part, under the radar).
