Antonis Tourkogiorgis of the legendary Socrates Drank The Conium passed away at the age of 73. Tourkogiorgis was the singer and bassist of Socrates and was known to have had serious health problems for many years.

The news was made known by Kostas Bigalis in a post on Facebook. “Today May 5, the great musician, guitarist, composer and singer Antonis Tourkoyiorgis “passed away” to meet his brotherly friend Yannis Spathas, the other “half” of the legendary “Socrates Drunk The Conium” of the top rock Greek band of all time! Tony Power! Forever!” he wrote specifically.

The Socrates were undoubtedly the most important Greek rock band of all time and the loss of Turkoyiorgis – as well as his fellow bandmate Yannis Spathas – is immense. R.I.P..
