Bad Habit is a really experienced band and they have proved all these years that their albums are both inspired and qualitative. But, that means that we should be really rigid and strict when it comes down to reviewing every new album of theirs. “Atmosphere” couldn’t be an exception to the rule. It’s not a bad album but it’s not something spectacular either as it includes a few worth mentioning and remarkable songs –especially in the beginning of the album- but as the songs flow things become rather predictive and detrimental. That being said, “Atmosphere” doesn’t give you chills down your spine so as to make you wanna rush to the nearest record store or to your favorite internet site to buy the album.

Now, if you are an avid AOR fan who simply purchases everything from your favorite musical genre, then these words of mine are not so important to you and you’re gonna buy the album no matter what…

Highlight: The “marriage” of modern with more traditional sounds is really interesting in some songs of “Atmosphere”.
