Some guys from California decided to play metal and make a difference. In what? Well, that is another story. It sounds nice in the beginning, however, in order to make that difference, you must be “qualified”. And these boys and girl are not. They are in the mood to do it and it shows all over their new album, but for the time being something less extreme might have sounded better, like they did on their previous album. Female brutal vocals (which are very good by the way) are not the best for metal with pop / core sound elements that define “Dominion”. The Good and clean production is practically what rescues this album, as well as some remarkable, yet unused, ideas. Benedictum sound like a support band under a second league group, which you listen to just to kill time. So I guess you should pass as well.
