Which one of Def Leppard would make the best date? Whatever happened to when music was fun? What happened and radio stations stopped playing Rock music?

Yep, it’s a bunch of good questions… Any answers available? Dunno, don’t have a clue, yet we can always seek resurgence… We can always ask for resurgence, so crank up the sound! Operation: BlancaWhite – took their name from a bar in Mexico – is kicking off, based on a deadly arsenal, featuring this particular album.

This whole thing was started by Mr. Ken Savage. Yeah, I know, you don’t know who he is. I didn’t know either, till I got a hold of this album. Ken is an international lawyer, you know, one of those guys traveling twenty five days a month for business. So this gent is on a plane, somewhere above Kazakhstan (he’s got a GPS up his sleeve or the Learjet pilot tipped him off?) and he suddenly picks up a piece of paper and a pen and he starts writing some lyrics! And the most weird part? These lyrics are darn good, blast him! They are hot, they are full of scorn and irony, they are really influenced by what Bon Scott. That’s alright, dude, it’s good to be influenced by the best.

Kewl Hard Rock, based on the eighties (and the seventies), with AC/DC guitars and attitude and some killer singers participating. Paul Shortino, Terry Ilous, Lorraine Lewis, Jeff Paris… Austin Schell and Rick Schell made the musical arrangements and the outcome is really impressive. “Take me back” sounds a bit like a Heart song, it’s okay though, one song tends to remind us of another one. It’s such a sweet project, featuring some absolutely amazing voices and a beer-friendly warm feeling… As for the best Leps date-thing… I guess the ladeez in the house would vote that Joe Elliott can’t lose?
