Bullet belong to the category of bands that win more and more fans, and increase their popularity thanks to their energy, passion, music, but mostly their dedication to what they are doing. Thus, they managed to sign a record deal with Nuclear Blast last summer, which was something they wanted really bad.

Using outsiders for the first time on “Full Pull”’s production led them to Fred Estby (Dismember) and Nicke Amdersson (Hellacopters, Entombed) whose experienced hands had to make the band’s sound an even more live feeling. I am sure they dealt with small details since the album sounds as raw, powerful and swagger-y (sic) like any album that bears the name “Bullet” on the cover. There are a few new elements, like the Thin Lizzy style guitars on “Running Away”, and the subtle piano on “Rolling Home”. Their compositions show a little bit more variety than the usual frenzy, dirty, road songs Bullet love to write, but don’t worry there is plenty of that too, like “In The Heat”, and “Free Riding”.

In general, this is a very good album by Bullet following their trademark style that follows the path of AC/DC, Judas Priest, Krokus, that might have little new to offer, but surely helps you have a great time, bang your head, and go out there and catch them live (so, please dear promoters bring Bullet to Greece ASAP!).
