Life and all those things life includes… Could easily be a book title, right? Is it okay that this particular book can also be head? Naturally it is… The boys from the Old Albion can play whatever they set their minds to (you can call me Prog, you can take me for a ride, you can let me show you how much I love music); these boys are back with a brand new bouquet, consisting of twelve songs plus a remastered version of “The fire around the lotus”, taken from their previous album, “Evolution: Creatio Ex Nihilio”. The band has also shot an animated video for this song, which we’ll get to watch soon.

Once again I call at the bands dominating this “species”, every group that you happen to like, every fellowship that lives and breathes in this part of Planet Prog… The Tangent, Spock’s Beard, Ritual, DeeExpus; you are welcome to add as many as you like. When musicians are so liberated, when they understand eachother so easily, when piano melodies and weird styles are being presented and performed in such an elegant way…

Then you stop asking yourself. Infinite ideas, from every corner of the musical universe, voices and screams and playing ability that needs logarithms in order to comprehend the grandeur… What is that “For your glory, great deceiver”; A simple song or an entire musical play?

I’m more than certain that fans already know what this is all about. For those claiming they’re into Prog and meaning it, they should take a spin. Should they enter the band’s official website and watch the 20min long making-of video of the album, they will be totally rewarded. Totally…
