Foreigner’s return with “Can’t Slow Down” and Kelly Hansen behind the mic, it was definitely something that didn’t pass without notice by all the AOR fans around the world. Especially, when this was embraced and characterizes as an absolutely successful comeback, the impact was even greater!
Naturally, the American supergroup decided to release a live album from the last tour…that was expected. What we didn’t expect was how good this album would be! Foreigner presents a best-of package with the necessary additions from “Can’t Slow Down” and they prove that they are absolutely on fire! It seems that Hansen –who is absolutely superb and puts on a hell of a show- that has given the much needed push of confidence to Mick Jones after Lou Gramm’s departure.
If you think about it, Foreigner is one of the very few musical outfits that can be proud of so many hits (know to almost everybody with the slightest connection to music, in general)…take a big breath: Juke Box Hero, Urgent, I Want Know What Love Is, Hot Blooded, Double Vision, Waiting For A Girl Like You, Cold As Ice, Feels Like The First Time, Say You Will, Blue Morning Blue Day and the list goes on and on!
