In the name of rock’n’roll, a supergroup returns with its third album, which is actually its the second! Lemmy, Slim Jim Phantom and Danny B. Harvey met in 2000 when they were recording a rockabilly tribute to Elvis, gelled well together and decided to record a full length album, which was released as “Lemmy, Slim Jim & Danny B.” in 2000, which was re-released from a different label in 2006, with a new title, “Fool’s Paradise”.

“Walk The Walk, Talk The Talk” is pure rock’n’roll an rockabilly with Lemmy’s distinctive voice being the protagonist, giving its characteristic color to the two originals, and ten covers that complete the album. What’s really impressive is the sons chosen by them three that come from a wide range of influences that obviously have left their mark on the three band members. The wandering starts from Robert Johnson and goes to Chuck Berry, and from Johnnie Kidd and The Pirates, to Jerry Lee Lewis and Elvis. My favorite songs were: “You Can’t Do That”, originally by the Beatles, “Shaking All Over” by Johnnie Kidd and the Pirates, and “It’ll Be Me” a songs written and played by the “Killer” Jerry Lee Lewis.

Lemmy’s performance is amazing, and from what we are able to listen these three must have had a ball contributing to this ultimate ‘60s jukebox. And usually, when the band is having a good time, the same thing happens with the audience, or actually the listeners in the case of an album. I am sure a lot of folks will even dance to this album, whether they know who plays on it, or not. Especially now, when swing, and rockabilly are in fashion in Greece, this album seems to have been released with the best possible timing.
