Harry Hess is known in the melodic rock community for the career of the last 17 years as a singer and composer of the Canadian Harem Scarem. . Band’s decision to stop recording new albums turned Hess in solo career. The album ‘’Living In Yesterday’’ released by Frontiers, is a perfect example that not only Hess  is a very good singer but as proved and a very good composer and producer.

The first 3 tracks on the album takes part in the backing vocals the favourite in all Marcie Free (Unruly Child).  One of these tracks is ” Living In Yesterday ” and outstands  from the first moment. They also take part in the album Hess’s  former bandmates like Pete Lesperance, Creighton Doane and Darren Smith and other well-known musicians such as Howie Simon (Jeff Scott Soto) and Magnus Karlsson (Primal Fear).

Of the remaining tracks on the album show up in Favorites ” it’s Over ”, ” Don’t Leave Me, ” ” Falling Down ” and the ’’ I Live For You’’.

I strongly suggest the album to all the fans of AOR music and especially to those who love Harem Scarem years and they will definitely appreciate it!
