With this one Hinder comes to a halt. I am not saying that this third offering by the Americans is bad, but I am under the impression that is certainly below par. This is the truth. “All American Nightmare” is far inferior to either “Take It To The Limit” or “Extreme Behavior” and the sales numbers prove this assessment true (if one should really need to take notice to such aspects of the music industry). In the first four moths of its release the album has sold fewer units than what its predecessors had achieved in their first month in the market.

“All American Nightmare” is an album comprised of 10 songs with duration that barely reaches the 36-minute mark and an overall picture that doesn’t add something new and gives you the feeling that it’s written somewhat hastily.

The really good moments of the record are the opening number “2 Sides Of Me” but from the rest of the bunch only “Striptease” can make the difference. I won’t write Hinder off with this one, after all, the album doesn’t suck, but this is a band with potentials and everyone should be demanding…
