German Rockers’ story begins somewhere around Christmas 2007. Some magazine editors discover this four-track CD in their mail; no cover, no additional info, no nothing but a name… They throw the CD a spin and suffer massive shock, the style of the band is amazing! A few months later the Swabians (Swabia: region in Bavaria, Germany) hit the world with their debut. Band’s influences refer to the grand Sleaze groups, NWOBHM, WhiteSnake, AC/DC… Influences are quite a few, yet what you are interested in is the outcome of their latest project, right?
Jolly good. This is one heck of Rock hymnic choruses and aggressive sixstringers. This is one heck of Motorcycle-ish Hard Rock and the bandana-friends over-party triptych. No need to elaborate regarding production etc., they are German! Everything sounds the way it’s supposed to do. The voice is slutty and ironic and barbaric, perfectly binding with the riffing and backing “Oooooh-Ooooh” and when freqs become high it’s really impressive. Has Slash heard of this guy? He would instantly become a fan!
Not even one song in the bouquet that you won’t have fun listening to. Glad to mention a few of the dynamite rockers, such as “Club 27” (Yep, 27 for ever, thanks to this music), “I will be King”, the band has already made a video for that one, same title track (video, too), “Operation Supernova”, “She’s a killer” (scratch me, bite me, kill me – I’m in!)…
Fantastic Rockblast, friends of the species will love it as well as all certified (certifiable included) Rock fans. Germans won’t stop impressive us. Luckily… for us! DO YOU LIKE?
