Sami Yaffa, a legend of Finnish rock, known not only from Hanoi Rocks but also from bands such as Pelle Miljoona and Michael Monroe, Mad Juana, Joan Jett and The Blackhearts and the New York Dolls, will release the second solo album of his long career, “Satan’s Helpers War Lazer Eyes And The Money Pig Circus”, on Friday 8 March via Vallila Music House.

“My first solo album, The Innermost Journey To Your Outermost Mind, was so well received that I decided to make another one. It’s taken a couple of years of recording, and along the way the new album has been made in Finland, Sweden and Spain. My rotating band, which includes myself, guitarist Linde Lindström and keyboardist Burton from HIM and maestro Janne Haavisto, who also played on the previous album, became a permanent band, and with this line-up we got down to business. The songs on the album reflect the chaotic world situation of the last couple of years, my own personal experiences and the true stories of the past,” Yaffa says.

The album is produced by Yaffa himself, together with Erno Laitinen, who also produced the debut album. Yaffa also got several familiar guests to join him on the album.

“I’ve got another good friend whose musical touch I really appreciate. Along the way, I caught up with Michael Monroe, Nasty Suicide, Dregen, Steve Conte, and Rich Jones, who is also responsible for the album’s stunning cover art. This album was as much of a joy to make as the last one. I hope that the listeners will take that to heart,” Yaffa continues.

Satan’s Helpers War Lazer Eyes And The Money Pig Circus will be available on CD and LP formats in addition to streaming services. Pre-sales for the album have started today and the album is now available for pre-order here.
