I don’t remember when was the last time that I got so freakin’ bored by the sheer listening of a record. When I was listening to “Twisted Wires…”, I felt at times that I had gone back in time -in high school, to be precise- during a lesson in mathematics an hour or so before the ring of the bell…the time was not dragging so much back then in comparison with this one, I tell you this!

“Twisted Wires…” is a compilation of Tesla songs from their back catalogue stripped down to the bones and performed in pure acoustic form. The problem is that those versions offer absolutely nothing to the listener and they are so boring…and the paradox is that this comes from a band with a good tradition in such career moves (after all, they have done similar things in the 90s). But, regardless of what I write here, the fans will buy the album (although, I am awfully certain that they won’t over-listen to it!). As for the rest of you out there…well, try something else, will you?

Highlight: Half of the songs are performed by the current line-up. The other ones captures Tesla in 2005 with their original guitarist Tommy Skeoch.
