The Germans’ sophomore album is a fact! For our friends loving to listen to Rock featuring all beautiful shades of black, here’s your prescription! Fludid’s voice is it! This gentleman is singing like a maniac, we surely love his throat, voice-color is so warm and the attitude… Amaz… Oops, gotta interrupt cuz “Downgrade” is on and that awesomic Lizzy/NWOBHM passage and Bay Area brutality are absolutely a huge blast! The Teutons have named a few bands as their influences, from Black Label Society and Pantera to Thin Lizzy, Alter Bridge and Metallica.
Standard steps to pleasure: observing those bitching guitars and badass rhythm section, then enjoy that supervoice and press yourself to overwhelming headbanging. That’s the album ride and there is no chance to find something you won’t like. Pure molested Rock, black clothes (naturally, m8!), harmonica over “Altar Boys”, tough-rough and parading on main street. Melody and stories inside four minutes… Man, these backing vox in “Happy Zombies” are fantastic! Yeah, I think this album will be everybody’s fav; I think that Chris Cornell would love this band, as well as lots of peeps would.
Surely a GREat album, recommended for all types of ears. Now it hit me! The boys were playing in Balingen at ten in the morning and I couldn’t catch the whole show cuz I arrived by the time they were wrapping it up. Maaaan!
