Everything started in 2007 from Soilwork’s singer, Bjorn Strid, and guitarist David Andersson who played with them the time, were touring in the States… listening to classic and favourite songs from the ‘70s, while consuming gigantic portions of alcohol they thought that the specific lifestyle was screaming for a fitting soundtrack. The endless roads, the unbearable waiting on every airport, and the big escape needed the appropriate music to go along!

Thus, recruiting Charlie D’Angelo (Arch Enemy, Spiritual Beggars) on bass, Jonas Kallsback (Mean Streak) on drums, and Richard Larsoon (Von Benzo) on keyboards, Night Flight Orchestra came together, a tribute band to ‘70s music, and actually the American one that came out during that period. “Internal Affairs” contains touches of AOR, funk, soul, blues, hard rock with an extremely good blending, and superb changes between every song. And that’s how it accomplishes it’s goal: to compile the absolute soundtrack of that era. Listening to songs like “West Ruth Avenue” you will get the impression of seeing Teli Savalas, John Travolta dancing, or even Burt Reynolds in a race car…

This album will be very much appreciated by all fans of the ‘70s, classic rock, West Coast, and mostly fans of good music!
