Official Charts did a survey on which albums from the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s have sold more copies in the 21st century, i.e. from 2000 to the present day.
In first place with 280.000 copies was Fleetwood Mac’s “Rumours”, released in 1977, which for the record has been in the British charts for 1042(!) weeks, which in years terms is approximately 20, since it was out!
In second place is Pink Floyd’s “Dark Side Of The Moon” from 1973, in third place is Nirvana’s “Nevermind”, in fourth place is Oasis’ “(What’s The Story) Morning Glory” and in fifth place is Queen’s “Greatest Hits”.
