The supergroup featuring Glenn Hughes, Joe Bonamassa, Jason Bonham and Derek Sherinian, Black Country Communion will return in 2017 according to the bassist, drummer and producer Kevin Shirley. The producer posted in Facebook: “We’re refurbishing the fuel tanks and refitting the rocket. Getting ready for takeoff in 2017 again, and I’m fired up … Who’s ready for another dose of BCC!?” Drummer Jason Bonhan posted a phot of the band with the caption “2017” and Hughes posted: “Preparing BCC Rocket Ship Re-launch for 2017 all systems go.” The band split in 2012 having released three studio albums and a live CD/DVD firstly because of Bonamassa’s bush schedule which led to tension between him and the Glenn Hughes.
