According to a post on Jon Lord’s Facebook page the famous “Concerto For Group And Orchestra” is going to be performed in full in in Győr, Hungary on November 5, 2021, featuring Bruce Dickinson and Roger Glover.
Paul Mann, who was the conductor of the 30th anniversary shows in 1999 in Royal Albert Hall, will conduct the Győr Symphony Orchestra. Please note that this is NOT a Deep Purple show.
Additional Deep Purple songs are expected. The rest of the band is consisted of Kaitner Z Doka (Jon Lord, Ian Paice, Don Airey) on guitar and Bernhard Welz (Jon Lord, Don Airey) on drums.
