Speaking with Dr. Music in the clip below, Dennis Stratton, original member of Iron Maiden, discussed his long history with Lionheart, his time in Maiden and his relationship with the band, as well as his thoughts on their music over the years. He also reveals how far he has gotten in the writing of his autobiography, and the song he considers to be closest to his heart. He also says that one of his “bucket list” wishes is to get on stage with the “Beast” once more.

“It’s still on my bucket list. I told Steve (Harris), ‘I’ve got one more wish on my bucket list.’ I’ve done most of the things I started out to do when I was 16, and I’m 71 now and coming up to 72. I’ve got one more wish on my bucket list, and I said to Steve, ‘And you know what that is.’ I didn’t say any more.”
