In a statement during Megadeth’s press conference in Tel Aviv a few days ago, Dave mustaine announced that Chris Alder is no longer a member of the band. Adler wasn’t playing in the band’s tour due to his commitments with Lamb Of God and was replaced by Soilwork’s Dirk Verbeuren. However, Mustaine was emphatic calling the drummer a “session guy” and “work for hire” –although quite recently he was saying how happy he was with the two new members Loureiro and Adler- that Adler is no longer a memer of Megadeth.
