English magazine Planet Rock, which was launched by Bauer Media in 2017 as a spin-off of the eponymous radio station, will close, according to CompleteMusicUpdate.com.
The company confirmed that out of its 10 titles, 3 will be terminated, 1 will be released only in digital form, two will be merged and the rest will be sold. Covid-19 seems to have played a key role in this development, influencing sales and magazine distribution.
Since Planet Rock magazine was the youngest of Bauer Media and the least known, the company decided to end it and focus on the monthly “Q”, which is very popular in the UK and intends to sell it to another media company.
