In February 2022, the SCORPIONS will release their 19th studio album “Rock Believer” and will then present the new work live around the globe. During the lockdown, the SCORPIONS were in the studio at their home base in Hanover, working on new songs. For the first time, ex-Mötorhead drummer Mikkey Dee is there and completes the legendary SCORPIONS hard rock sound! “The album has the Scorpions DNA, the Schenker / Meine compositions form the core,” says frontman Klaus Meine and explains why the new songs have the freshness and power of the 80s Scorpions albums: “As a band, we have them all together in one Played the space and recorded the songs – just like we did back in the 80s. We can’t wait to get started again to finally play for our fans again. ”The sound has an energy and uncompromisingness, like an adrenaline rush, and leaves no doubt as to the power the rock legends will deliver live.

“Rock Believer” will be released on February 11, 2022, the new single “Peacemaker” will be released at the end of October 2021. 2022 is a very special year, because exactly 50 years earlier, on January 22, 1972, the SCORPIONS released their spectacular debut and started her international career.

“During the album recordings we had so much energy and fun – and we want to take this power with us on our concert tour,” says Matthias Jabs and Klaus Meine explains: “We have never had such a long break from the tour as we do now during the Pandemic. That of course increased the appetite, so that we are now looking forward to the start of the tour. ” SCORPIONS founder and guitarist Rudolf Schenker: “The prospect of rocking with my bandmates in front of hundreds of thousands of fans next year and being able to present our new album to them already gives me goose bumps.
