Alice Cooper launched an outsider campaign for public office with a 10-point manifesto and asks people to vote for him in both US and Great Britain. “Tired of the rhetoric, the misguiding, the media frenzy, keeping his snake in the cage and the guillotine in storage, he is putting people before career. Alice Cooper wants to be elected”, says his press release. His manifesto includes getting Brian Johnson back to AC/DC, renaming Big Ben to “Big Lemmy” and “no more pencils, no more books” between others. For this cause there is a special website and his classic song “Elected” from the monumental album from 1972 “Billion Dollar Babies” was re-recorded and you can listen to it here.
Obviously, this whole thing is another way of Alice Cooper making a poignant commene about politics in both the States and Britain, although it would be fun if this campaign was for real!
