In a recent intwerview on Loudwire, Scorpions guitarist, Rudolph Schenker, explained why the Germans will never stop… his statement came up when he was asked if the farewell tours they did worked as wake up call. Rudolph as chatty as always explained how the band was led to the decision to cancel their farewell and resumed: “I think for new generations, we have to keep the flag in the air for this music and I think that’s a very important point that entered our mind by really going through it; by being awake and seeing what we give the people”. When he was asked if there is anything for the Scorpions to achieve after 50 years in the scene he replied: “It’s mostly the new generation. When you always play in front of the same crowd, it’s very easy to get bored”.
