As part of his show, “A Life On The Road”, Brian Johnson visited Pink Floyd’s drummer, Nick Mason, who gave him a tour in his garage, which is full of cars and took a ride with one of his Ferraris!
Actually, this was the legendary 250GTO Ferrari, whose worth is 40 million pounds!
The car was used to drive both Mason’s daughters to their weddings, as well as a collateral for Pink Floyd’s “A Momentary Lapse Of Reason” tour. That proved a good idea as the band grossed around US$135 million, making it the highest-grossing tour of the 1980s. Note that the tour started on September 9th 1987 in Ottawa, Canada and finished two years later on July 18th in Marseille, France. Pink Floyd played in Athens, Greece on that tour on May 31st.
