According to an interview Mille Petrozza gave to Guitar Interactive the next studio album from Kreator will be released in 2020. “We will not play any festivals next year,” says Petrozza. “We might do a little bit, but not much. Basically, we have next year off to write. I’m planning on releasing something in the summer of 2020.” When he was asked why Kreator delay to put out new material the frontman answered: “I’ve written many, many songs — I just checked, and I’ve written more than 150 songs — so I need to make sure that the new songs don’t sound like the old songs; that’s a little tricky sometimes,” he explained. “And come up with new topics [to write about]. But it always works. I just need to wait for the right moment.”
