The Winery Dogs have released their new video for the song “Stars” from their new album “III”, which was out via Three Dog Records on February 3rd.
Note that the band was formed in 2012 and since then it’s consisted of Richie Kotzen (guitar, vocals), Billy Sheehan (bass) and Mike Portnoy (drums).
Sheehan and Portnoy’s idea was to form a power trio with John Sykes on guitar, called “Bad Apple”, but this plan did not go ahead. However, Eddie Trunk stepped in and suggested they team up with Kotzen, and thus The Winery Dogs were formed.
