Saxon will release a new live album “The Eagle Has Landed 40”, the fourth of the series celebrating their 40th anniversary. It’s going to be released as a double CD (also in other formats to be announced) and will contain… 40 songs recorded live spanning the band’s career. The album will be released on August 2 by Silver Lining Music. Also, the band will celebrating its 40th birthday with three special shows in Britain with Krokus, Girlschool, Diamond Head, Black Star Riders in Glasgow, London and Manchester in October.
