Forty years after it arrived in record stores, Meat Loaf‘s Bat Out of Hell will make the leap to the stage. Bat Out of Hell — The Musical, a stage production featuring songs from the original Bat Out of Hell record as well as its 1993 follow-up, Bat Out of Hell II: Back Into Hell, has announced a June 5, 2017, premiere at the London Coliseum, the start of a limited season run that’s scheduled to conclude July 22. Premieres for the show are scheduled to take place at the Manchester Opera House between Feb. 17 and April 8. According to a press release, the box office for the show will open to the public on Nov. 3, and in celebration, the production has arranged a live performance by the cast outside the Coliseum.
