Iron Maiden’s growing beer empire is set to expand with the addition of a new session golden ale, called Light Brigade, due to arrive in stores and on tap next month.
Like the other Maiden beers, Light Brigade is being bottled in partnership with Robinsons Brewery — and this one comes with a charitable twist. According to the Robinsons website, a portion of the proceeds for each sale is being diverted to Help for Heroes, a non-profit dedicated to helping British Armed Forces veterans “who live with complex wounds and injuries – both physical and mental – and are looking to regain their purpose in life.”
