On the occasion of the anniversary release of the album “The Miracle”, which is scheduled for November 18, Queen unearthed a previously unreleased song featuring their legendary singer, Freddie Mercury, titled “Face It Alone”.
“Face It Alone” was recorded in 1988 during a period when the band prepared 30 songs, most of which were never released and was essentially rescued by the group’s production team who were looking for material for the re-release of “The Miracle”. Note that 5 more unreleased tracks will be included in some of his album formats.
“We’d kind of forgotten about this track,” admits Roger Taylor, “but there it was, this little gem. It’s wonderful, a real discovery. It’s a very passionate piece.”
Speaking of the rediscovered track, May says: “I’m happy that our team were able to find this track. After all these years, it’s great to hear all four of us … yes, Deacy is there too … working in the studio on a great song idea which never quite got completed … until now!”
